Author Topic: Why do Grown men / Teenage Boys like "My little Pony??"  (Read 40058 times)

If this isn't "good enough", then nothing is.
It's not like I haven't heard that a thousand times but it's still valid I guess.

Why is my brown townogy the worst ever? Look at the structure of my statement, false or not, I made a statement, and then provided my reason why.

Learn to do this.

Also, about not knowing anything about mental disorders.
it just is
also you know literally nothing about mental disorders stop acting like you do

You've heard it a thousand times? Then why the hell are you saying people never answer "your question"? An answer is an answer, I am not lying at all.

I don't need to know everything. With the Internet, I can get all the latest information with a few clicks. I have stated and backed up my statements.

You, on the other hand, seem to post your conclusions with absolutely no support. I now know why nearly no one respects you.

It's not my question, I know why it's a good/bad show. I could say any show is good by copying and pasting your post.

Alright, I'll go into even more detail if that doesn't satisfy you.

The characters have original personalities. Most shows are set up to have a set of characters with the same sort of function as previous shows have done, such as the trio of main character, girl, and nerd. At least 2 shows I've watched have done that (ever watched Nickelodeon?). The characters also have specific personality flaws that makes the show much more interesting instead of having a personality consisting of perfect qualities like a lot of shows do.

The drama is good. None of the episodes have a perfect ending all the time. Season 2's first episode has made it look like all hope is lost, a great cliffhanger. And unlike even more shows, the parties are never always perfect in every way. One of the parties has almost all the characters skip out and temporarily drives one of the characters insane (which is quite funny to watch). The final episode's grand gala party is a complete mess as well.

I can't say there is much action, but this isn't a show about action. If it was a television show based around fighting it would be disappointing, but no, this show is a huge variety. It has no specific "theme" it revolves around, bringing me back to the topic of originality.

The animation is just incredible. The producers have made wonders with Flash, like huge beautiful castles and even 3D effects. I find the animation great.

Alright, I've answered it. This does not apply to every show. Happy now?

Because the show was meant to apply to all ages, so the parents would at least watch the show that their toddler wasn't paying attention too.

And yeah, it attracted all ages.

That doesn't mean it was meant for ages 18 to 54 to watch the show and obsess over it and buy all the loving dolls.

For the sake of evenhandedness, I don't think that it was meant for our age group. I'm not saying it isn't our right to watch it, I'm just saying in all seriousness that it most likely wasn't intended for us.

Most likely not. But it at least achieved the goal of making a kid show parents aren't embarrassed to watch. :S
