Author Topic: Shiny Pokemon Question  (Read 1042 times)

Okay so I'm playing SoulSilver, and I encountered a shiny Drowzee. I was excited and loving disappointed at the same time.

If I were to restart and go to another area where pokemon I LIKE are, would it still be the same amount of time before I encounter a shiny?

Like, not saving, restarting and going to a different area?

Note I just started up the game and had like 3 or 4 battles in the wild.

i'm guessing no

Be happy you encountered  a shiny at all, bro.

That I am. I encountered a shiny joltik in pkmn White, and was overjoyed.

I just dislike Drowzee.

Never encountered a non-Red Gyarados shiny. Played all mainseries games. I guess I just have terrible luck?

The chance of encountering a Shiny Pokemon in the wild is always 1/8192. No exceptions.

Unless you use a PokéRadar trick on the 4th gen. Sinnoh games; it will make finding shines easier.
