Author Topic: Shiny Pokemon Question  (Read 1036 times)

Should I start a new file on my Sapphire game? Thinking of starting a new file on one of the games. But I can't on some of the newer ones because I have a stuffload of event pokemon and legendaries.

R/S were pretty unbearable imo

But if you're up for it I say sure, then you can migrate

I have a Shiny Tranquill and [had] the Shiny Pichu from the HG/SS event. Unfortunately, I left my case of games [not my DS system] at a restaurant and lost about 20 games [with my 'had' Heartgold Version], a microSD, and an Action Replay. Now I just have a few games: Super Scribblenauts, [3DS: Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, Lego Star Wars III,] Lego Indiana Jones II (Buggy as hell, don't recommend it.), Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon Soulsilver Version, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 64 DS, and a few others.

Sorry for going way off-topic.
TL;DR: I had a Shiny Pichu until I lost my game, literally.

R/S is quite a blur to me now, but is still pretty nostalgic :D

You could round that right? Yeah, you can.

The chance of encountering a Shiny Pokemon in the wild is always 1/8192. No exceptions.

Mine is just simplified.

All through Ruby and Heart Gold, i've NEVER seen a shiny

I'm at the end of White (procrastination!) and i've never seen a shiny

That's normal. I've been playing and replaying Pokemon games for over 13 years and I've only seen the two I have.

i'm playing peril then i find a lv.23 shiny gravler (it was golden) i throw an ultra ball at it. it broke free then it used self destruct.......
