Author Topic: Guy invents a 25 dollar PC, that is small, and can run Quake 3 maxed out.  (Read 3633 times)

theyre gonna need a bit more than a $25 computer, then. preferably a college education.
Same goes for a lot of things.

i'd seriously doubt its specs are worse than this. the CPU in this thing is 700mhz.

You obviously don't know much about the history of computing. Ten years a go, which isn't really that long, computers could commonly be sold with 300 - 600mhz CPU and 64MB ram.

Second item in 2001 is a recall for some 1.13GHz cpu's lol

Fredulus is almost as bad as some of the awful trolls we see eery now and then.

If you are spending money for, say, your child to go to an expensive college, you will most likely buy them a computer for their studies. Why spend $600-$1000 for a netbook/laptop if your kid is only going to be using it for research or something like that? Why not spend a measly $35 for a STILL GOOD computer that he can take almost anywhere and doesn't require being charge/whatnot.

Also I like how you go from "this is completely worthless why would anyone buy this when they can spend hundreds of dollars on a computer they might not use" to "yeah it's cool and all but I don't like it and none of you should because it isn't a quality gaming computer  lol xD"

i havent even said the word gaming in this thread lol

all im saying is it wont succeed at all

Reading some news about it, they were rushing to get 1ghz processors out.

As I said earlier, they just shown Quake 3 so that you can see it runs well, now stop trying to pin this on me.

just sayin', you brought it up, not me

watch the next gen computers be the size of a micro usb wireless mouse transmitter
and they can run BF3 at 90fps on full settings
...only for $100

just sayin', you brought it up, not me
And I brought it up to show how well it runs programs, not games.
