The recoil is huge, but the exoskeletons have been outfitted with a on-board HUD and recoil compensator to deal with the recoil. It fires a steel-cubic zircon composite round with a thermite core. The steel-zircon bolt cracks the layers of steel, while the thermite melts the steel, the kevlar, and the person within. Repeated shots (2-4) can destroy even diamond.
