I love how much more morbid the entire thing is overall compared to Oblivion. I think it's due to the fact that Skyrim as a whole is much more realistic and believable. The wedding assassination in particular was one of the most satisfying kills I've made in Oblivion OR Skyrim, in part due to the 'slice throat' animation, which is just soooo satisfying. Also when you lose the first sanctuary, I genuinely felt anger. Not towards the game, but towards the soldiers responsible. This game has actually made me feel anger towards an NPC. That emotion made killing Maro that much more rewarding.Back to the morbidity, when you find Astrid after she performs the Black Sacrament, I genuinely got chills. It really just struck a nerve in me. I got the same feeling after upgrading the Dawnstar sanctuary and entering the torture room. I was repulsed by that room to the point where I didn't even want to stand in it.
I just finished assassinating the Emperor, then jumped off the ship. then randomly a sailor pops out of nowhere and says "you might want to be careful about dropping things." hands me a cup i dropped earlier and swims away. I was like :O i just assassinated your emperor and you give me a cup and go away.
I just killed a dragon with my bear fits
