Improves your smithing/CRAFTING and you use the pickaxe to MINE things, also it's the only one that's NOTCHED.  Definitely a Minecraft reference.

I've been using destruction, one handed, and archery equally. Should I choose one or keep juggling all three?

I was unarmed with all perks going into smithing and heavy armor until I got a few ebony weapons, now I'm dual wielding ebony swords. Wish I could find the Elemental Fury shout though, since I won't be enchanting my weapons (just upgrading them if I ever find some ebony ingots or ore)

I've played a fair bit of the beginning so far.  Got to the Jarl at the other place because of the dragon in the beginning and telling him about what happened.

Enjoying it so far as my first TES game but as far as I can tell right now it'll just be one of those games I'll play when I get bored.   I wish I had a laptop that could run it though, I'd definitely play it in times where I'm not at home :(

With my mage clothes total, my magicka regenerates 200% faster, cost 24% less to cast destruction spells, and +70 magicka.
