Does anyone have any idea what is doing this? Essentially wherever there are those fires in cities and stuff, and if you look up at them, the screen flashes yellow like this.

Start disabling mods alphabetically in batches of 5 and once the glitch stops happening disable one at a time from the batch you last disabled. Worked for me a few times.

I thought of doing that, but I was just wondering why it would have started only after killing Alduin. :/

Made a new character. Bosmer thief named Endring. Gonna join the Thieves Guild early on so I can get the Stones of Barenziah. I like the perk you get from that. I like it a lot.

It's called "Prowler's Profit".
It alters history so that many more precious gems can be found in urrns mixed in with the ashes of Nordic dead.

One tomb run could net you ~5-10 of each kind of gem, flawless and otherwise.
