Annoying the gems don't have quest markers by default. I know there's a mod that adds them, but that definitely feels like cheating in this case.

I just used the UESP page.

Oh, this reminds me actually. Why won't my loving gems stack? I got a bunch floating around randomly changing places in my inventory, they're bugged up. Is there a fix for this? Do I have to remember where I got each? Because I don't remember all of them...

Intentional, they aren't supposed to stack once they are named "Stones of Barenziah"

I had 23/24 gems when I went to take them to an appraiser; after that when I retrieved the 24th I had a stack of 23 Stones of Barenziah and one separate Stone.

They only stack if you get them while they are unusual gems, but don't get 24 before you get them appraised.
