Damn Nords, never liked them after that mages guild incident.

actually its kind of cool to think about how skyrim actually felt like a step backwards in terms of technological advancement from oblivion.
like the imperial legionnaire are mostly wearing leather and looking more Romanesque, rather than the medieval-looking heavy armor (besides the roman-looking helms) they had in cyrodiil

It also feels less clean, like the time period was. Rather than oblivion having perfect shiny streets and castles and such.

What happened to jails/sewers in Skyrim?
I miss the sewers from the Imperial City, and all the escape routes you could take to sneak out of jail.
Imperial City had sewers in Oblivion, Riften had the Ratways in Skyrim.

Its different though.
The Ratways are small, and lead to the Thieves Guild.
The sewers allowed you to travel from place to place, make a speedy escape, ect.

Good point. I had much fun trudging through the sewers beneath the Imperial City. Very easy to get lost though.

I'm a bit stuck on a console code for Oblivion. I just completed the main quest, and I have a statue in Bruma. However, it has my ugly staff instead of any of the other cool blades I used. I know that the statue is technically an NPC, so there must be a console command to alter it. I googled various versions of my inquiry but they all turned up non-related pages.

The game automatically chooses not the equipment you were wearing at the end, but what the game considers to have been the "best" in your inventory at the time for the statue.
I'd just reload to a point before the main quest ended, and put all of the things you absolutely don't need in a safe container.
See this page for crap on safe containers, if you haven't already.

I didn't even know you got a statue

I didn't even know you got a statue

Me neither. I literally just loaded the game to check.

Its frustrating that both Oblivion and Fallout 3 run terribly on my computer, but I can run Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas on highest settings just fine.
