NEW FEATURES

    Mounted Combat - Skyrim now allows you to do melee and ranged combat while riding a horse


    Log into Steam
    Click on Steam in the upper menu
    Select Settings
    Under the Account tab, go to the Beta Participation section and select Change.
    A drop down menu will appear. Select Skyrim Beta.
    Select OK.
    Steam will now restart. After Steam restarts, Skyrim will be updated to the Beta version currently available.

I ride them when I need to discover a new location or fast travel when I'm carrying too much

I usually just run around the whole world like a handicap.

Which reminds me, I got the stuff scared out of me.

Excited for mounted combat.
No more:

>Ride away

It really ruins the immersion.
Now:

>Turn around
>Shoot wolf in eye

Also I killed 2 mammoths and I giant.

I thought I was wearing full ebony but I was just wearing the gauntlets and boots.
All I had for torso were fine clothes. No helmet either.

I can kill giants in two hits
unless I get a sneak attack
it only takes one then
my hammer does little over 240 damage so sneak attacks really pack a punch
the dagger though
15x sneak attack + shrouded gauntlets

Woo mounted combat should be cool. I like how the updates are actual gameplay things. Did they do that for previous Elder Scrolls games? I bought Oblivion in like 2008.

i dunno, but SKSE is skyrim script extender. whenever a new skyrim version comes out, SKSE must be updated. SKSE allows modders to do even more with scripting that default code doesn't allow, such as mouse wheel support for catapults, or other nifty things.
