The 1.6 update that should (I guess) come out any time soon. It adds horse combat, as well as fixes bugs.

Has anyone seen a person riding a horse in Skyrim, or does everyone walk?

Holy stuff. You're right.
In oblivion, you at least had the couriers.

That was rare, but it was there.

Is there a mod that allows NPC's to ride horses?
I seriously bought several horses, thinking my NPC followers can ride them.

There is a mod that allows your followers to ride a horse. It's called "better followers" or something.

How about normal NPC's?

How about normal NPC's?
If there isn't yet, there likely will be a mod that makes it so there are more travelers.
They had one for oblivion. And if that mod is in existence and doesn't use horses, I'm sure the suggestion could be made.

But also, the lack of riders makes sense. If you remember in Oblivion the stable master of Bruma talks about how they don't have great horses because the nords have no use for horses on the rocky uneven terrain of skyrim.

Sneaky bastards.

there is a mod that adds travelers, dunno if they have horses.

I'm purged of my vampirism.
I no longer feel thirst for blood... the sun, it feels so... so warm...
I feel...
mortal...
It's beautiful... c':

Um, there is an NPC horse rider.

They're called Nobles or something.

Ya, they mentioned them. The problem is they're like the only NPC that rides horses outside of scripted events with specific NPCs.

lol I remember that feeling in Oblivion. Haven't yet allowed the disease to go into effect in Skyrim though. :/
