I'm playing Dark Elf at the moment so I started in the same location.
what? there's no morrowind?

I really hate how this is going to be pay to play

you aren't missing too much

There is, yes.
But all factions start in the same place, regardless of race.
I've not tried the Daggerfall Covenant, but both the Aldmeri Dominion and the Ebonheart Pact all start on a small island, which basically acts as the tutorial island.

The Dominion starts on Kenarthi's Roost, off the coast of Elsweyr. Soon after you land in Valenwood.
The Ebonheart Pact starts on Bleakrock Isle, off the north-east coast of Skyrim. Soon after you land in Morrowind, not too far from the city of Ebonheart (I think Old Ebonheart, rather than the Ebonheart City featured in TES: Morrowind).

I'm not sure where the Daggerfall Covenant players start off, but from the pattern I would assume it is an island (to prevent you running off) situated in the territory of one nation, and you then jump to the territory of another.

They should've just released a Skyrim Multiplayer Mod.

I would've loved that, and in some ways would prefer it (since I don't like having 20 people all rushing around doing the same thing but not actually interacting with each other), but I must say I do enjoy the scope of TESO and playing it in the style of an MMO isn't bad.
I think a multiplayer Skyrim would probably end up quite buggy. I would like to see if it could ever be incorporated into a future Bethesda game, whether ESO or Fallout.

So I've been playing TESO this weekend.

It's not all that great.

Trying to play TESO but 42 min login queue...

Soooo... I was playing this for a bit after finally logging in,  and I decided to try new race and class.  So I logged out to find out the game crashed.  So I log back in to a queue for 1 h 30 m....

IMO, These has probably been the most original MMO i have played in a long time. Most PC MMOs are based too much off of WoW and it gets depressing. I've found much joy in it so far and haven't seen too many bugs yet.

This is true. I haven't found much joy in MMOs lately, this is one I do and I'm considering buying.

Yeah, most original MMO definitely. I'll easily give it that title.

Elders Scrolls Online is so bad

I got bored after 10 minutes of beta play, the combat and movement mechanics are so uninspired

Yeah I mean to each his own but I have a pretty high standard (like rating of 2 out of 10 at least) for games or else I don't play them

ESO is like a 0 and I love MMO's

This.

Thats what I don't like at all about TESO. The combat system just doesn't feel right, and movement is so weird.

I mean, it has potential, they just need to work on it more.
