That's why it's called a beta, silly.
being in beta is no loving excuse to be stuffty

i'm tired of people saying that being in beta is an excuse for the game being bad

beta is like, a month before release
if the beta is stuffty, the game is gonna be stuffty

he didn't say it was bad because of bugs
he didn't even say there was anything wrong with beta testing

Well, I thoroughly enjoy it and the friends I've been playing it with have loved it so far. It's got it's kinks to iron out, and there are a few design choices that aren't favourable imo, but I'm happy to own and play it.

This is my impression of the ESO beta

Or they could, you know, test it themselves.
If you can't find faults within your own damn game, but have simple minded gamers with no knowledge of game production play, and find all these things? Something is wrong with your company then.

even when i'm playing as the fat ass pringles man ESO is still pretty boring =/

i dont think these companies have enough members to test the servers of a massively multiplayer game, or have an outside opinion on game features and ideas.

and besides testing servers, imagine how hard it would be finding all the bugs with 100 or so people compared to however many thousands they let play it at a time

beta is for fixing minor things, like bugs.

i don't like the game itself, but i haven't encountered any bugs yet.
i'll try some more but from what i've played its not appealing to me

To be fair, I can see why it's not everyones cup of tea. It's not exactly like other TES games and it's not like other MMOs. But so long as people give it a good thorough look at and possibly a try then I dont mind if they dont like it. I'm much more annoyed at people who brush it off for no reason or just because they heard from a friend of a friend that it was bad. It definitely deserves a chance.

i got into eso and within the first hour or so i already got stuck under a house

You do know that's what beta's are for, right? Because it's easier to find bugs when thousands of people are playing the game instead of 100 game testers. Please, make a game as large as ESO and i'd like to see you spend years by yourself finding every little glitch before it's release.

Proof that it's just like any other Bethesda type game.
