Questions and Answers about the game of Halo

Hello everyone! I have just started a new topic (possibly series) about video games that involves people asking questions and me answering them. Now please know, that I DO NOT look up any sources upon a question being asked (all answers come from MY background knowledge). All answers are based on facts and not biases or opinions.
Additionally, any questions deemed worthy of challenging my knowledge will be posted along with the topic for others to try and answer. So now, it's time to ask away! Comment on the topic with any question you may have. The subject of the question does not matter as long as it relates to any Halo game.

He was the sole survivor of the battle for Installation 04 and was able to get a handful of troops off the surface of the ring, defend a small crew of soldiers (including Master Cheif) on their way back to Earth, and help humanity against the Covenant in the final days of the war.

EDIT: AND he killed the Insurrectionist's first leader, General Mulky Anders during his graduation mission from sniper school.

Master Cheif did. And his only relation to the destruction of Halo was his escape, which is currently unknown/classified.

As confirmed by Bungie, that was a easter-egg and was not considered canon towards the series.

That was also not canon. Bungie made a mistake when making him "killable". They remedied this by bringing him back in Halo 2 and giving him invincibility.
