Why don't they just nuke all the aliens?
because they would do the same thing, but considering the Covenant beat the UNSC once that probably means the Covenant's explosion would be bigger

The Covies are so badass that their shields can deflect 1-3 nukes. No joke, and yet, shooting depleted uranium can take them down.
Then they go inside the loving shields and nuke them. Not that hard.
Spartans are cross-trained in EVERY single piece of equipment the UNSC (and some of the Covenant) has to offer. That includes Sabres, and even UNSC cruisers.
What I mean by "why do they send spartans into sabres rather than pilots" is that why are they risking Spartans? They could of easily gotten a pelican for the Spartans to board the ship on the top, reducing the risk for them dying.
Why havent they shown Master Chiefs Face?
That was attempted by a SPARTAN II (Sam/John's bff) and a SPARTAN III (the original Noble Six). Both ended up detonating a nuke inside and sacrificing their lives.
