They aren't incredibly dangerous but they are rather unhealthy if used even a little often.

For example, my parents told me two things on the subject of alcohol.  First, don't drink it.  Second, if you are intoxicated, get a ride from a taxi or call us.

Ignored first, followed second.  My parents realized I wasn't sober and were like, "Fine, just remember you can never drive with someone who is drunk."Yeah, I'm going to forget up society because I didn't listen to everything mommy and daddy said to me.

Nym, you are preposterous.  We have drank alcohol for well over 1000 years, and we are still going, aren't we?  Drinking is so common with teenagers that it's strange if you don't drink.

Also my parents drank well before my age when they were younger, so forget em.

2 cups of coffee has less caffein and sugar than a redbull.

I hate energy drinks, probably just me but I hate the taste of any that I've tried and always feel awful after drinking them.

Edit: Don't drink coffee either, but a load of soda so I suppose that covers my caffeine intake

only if you overdose and drink a forgetton, like 2 to 4 cans can be bad. I only have 1 once in a while. I dont drink one every day.

it's not "fine", it's just not as harmful

energy drinks have the exact opposite effect on me than they should
i drink it and get really tired, then later i feel perked up and ready to run 15 miles
