when you plug a computer into a wall the power supply gets the power and feeds it to whatever needs it

so basically yes
alright then
so in total it's about $210
argh

Hey

Let me save you some money

except that isn't an 80 plus certified powersupply so it's going to generate a lot of heat and use a lot more power

If his computer case is not ridiculously tight and closed in and his system fans work It'll be fine.

I'll post a picture for you later.

So, which power supply do I get?

I would really upgrade your RAM. At this point in hardware ram is dirt cheap.

You can pick up 4 GB for like 20 dollars.

Looks like the one I provided would breathe fine in that case, but if you want to feel more sure spend a few more bucks on Kearns suggestion. All in all I don't think the PSU I suggested would cause you any problems.

I have 6114 GB, not sure how much that equals to.

You have 6114 MB, which is about half of one GB.

Not nearly enough considering your processor and soon to be graphics card.

no, that's 6 gigabytes.

no, that's 6 gigabytes.
Oh stuff, sorry.

Totally read that wrong, ok.

So in that case you have a triple channel memory kit, which could still have an upgrade but it's not necessary.

So back on the topic of GPU's, your limit is 70?
