I opened my eyes... Everything hurt. I slowly sat up, looking around the room. I heard some talking, faint, but recognizable.
"He's got a severe concussion, several broken ribs, his left shoulder is dislocated, we had to remove a large shard of glass from his stomach... uh... what else..." I saw a figure flip over a page on a clipboard. "He might have some amnesia, a possibly PTSD."

Shinenzu looked over to Jacov, "You only survived since I was using the full version of Render. When I used the Shockwave Module, I nearly sacrificed myself to send most of you out of the sky." He said, before finishing with the Landing Gear. Putting his gear into his toolbox, he stood up. "Gonna check up on him." He said, heading into the room after a bit of movement. "How's he doing, doc?"

I land my Tiger II, being at bingo fuel and also satisfied with how well the bird handled. I decided to use her more often, and told my crew chief this.  He said he would paint my callsign under the roosterpit and perhaps the kills on the nose. I smiled and told him that was a good idea. I returned to my bunk, and cleaned my USAS 12. I walked to the target range practiced some. Then I just didn't know what to do. I put my USAS 12 back in it's compartment under my bunk, and decided to take a nap.

"That sorta makes sense. I still don't know how I survived with my F-4. It should have broken apart."

"You survived because the wings have a slight strand of spiderweb. When it was cut through, your wings came off, but they were still dangling. You went slower, and you didn't even realize it." He said. "I've reinforced my planes roosterpits with spiderweb before, not many bullets got through."

"That's not what I mean. When I was fighting you, when I shot your engine to pieces, after the shrapnel hit my F-4 I should have died. My plane should have fallen apart."

"You don't get it. I've enhaneed my planes with certain strains of spiderwebs, when it strikes, the spiderweb comes off onto the enemy plane, weakly holding it together. I could've bolstered my rounds with spiderweb, making them the size of a pencil, but then you would stop midair on impact of the bullet instead of being torn to shreds."

"Ah, that makes sense now. I feel lucky that you didn't bolster your rounds with spiderwebs. But wouldn't the rounds stick in the barrel? Why didn't you reinforce the wings of your plane with spiderweb? To keep them from falling apart?"

"I know when I'm beaten, and they wouldn't get stuck in the barrel, it's only four inches apart, 6 wide, if you put in a two inch spiderweb bullet, it goes through faster than a regular round." He said. "There's not that much time to bolster the wings, especially when they're three yards long in total, 1.5 yards per wing."

"I'll try and modify the Render's wings, make them longer and more stable."

"Leave that to me. When they're shorter, stability is better, due to her average size. I can make them a bit longer to add to speed, since it takes in more wind."

"Actually, I would suggest sweeping the wings forward. The rumored SU - 47 has that, apparently, and it makes it faster."

Or Have a toggle such as the MiG-23, that was a great aircraft.

"Make them variable-sweep, like what's-his-name over there said."

I sigh and continue walking to my barrack. I lay down on my bunk and flip open the "Aviator's Monthly" magazine, reading about a new aircraft called the F-35 JSF.
