i like how my rockets will zip out a meter and suddenly do 180 to target an enemy behind me that i didn't even know was there and smash into my plane's face, sending me spiraling into the sea.
i like how the boats are so handicappedly slow that it feels like just swimming is way faster.
i like how the rocket launcher for some reason just doesn't feel right at all and rocket jumping is nearly useless.
i like how people can just waltz into the other team's ship and camp out merrily with a shotgun.
i like how control points don't even do anything.
i like how the little displays at the bottom of my screen tend to break all the time.
i like how this base is claiming to be a red base when it's clearly blue, even after i've captured its point.
i like how overall stale the gameplay is.

super quality server.

If you're going to host a server for the public, expect criticism. Your server is fair game, and if you use the "don't join" argument, you just can't do it.

Deal with it. These are the effects of putting your stuff out there for other people.

Caught that ninja kalph.

Anyway, Taboo actually told us what needs to be fixed. You just kinda whined about everything. And yes, I expect criticism, the server was just started and there's bound to problems with it.

And Taboo, the control points will actually have a purpose the next time the server is restarted thanks to Slayer's Territory gamemode. I'll bring the rest of the stuff up to be fixed.

frankly i feel like it's just too empty.
stick some floating fortresses about the sky or something.

Yeah, there needs to be a draw to use the islands more, which the Territory gamemode should add.

Nice. I was on the server when you were building it.

       Dis needs a :cookie:

Of course, whenever I whine, I'm being a 2 year old, despite that I have a valid cause.

[SS] has made TDMs that just don't work, the older ones were better.

They were better, and Kalph if the sniper ever gets fixed, I'll gladly take you on in this again.

When I get my map cycle done it might be nice to set up a rotation so we can cycle thru all of them.

Kal, if you just hate this TDM so much, why don't you go make one yourself, if you think you've got better ideas than everyone.

It doesn't take a chef to know good food.

dogfights don't work in general. no one actually dogfights they just ram into the enemy base. the best dogfight would be one or two man planes, just box bases in the air (no attraction to raid, nothing inside but PLANES), and have 32v32 with just planes all over the place.

Just so everyone knows, we ARE working on the issues brought up by Taboo:

Let's break this down one-by-one.

1. Major issue. If you can't expect your rockets to not blow you up, why are they there to begin with?
2. This was an issue in previous versions of the Dogfight. Why is it still an issue? Did no one fix the boats so they weren't painfully slow?
3. To comment on the RL, I'd likely have to join the server sometime soon when I have some free time. However, if rocket jumping is useless, why is it a feature?
4. This was an issue in previous versions of the Dogfight. Why is it still difficult to take out someone in the carrier's interior? I'd imagine that players with level 2 versions of the shotgun will have an even easier time in camping.
5. Greek addressed this by saying a future update will make the CPs useful. So, how far off is this update and what usefulness does this provide the CPs?
6. Which script causes these issues? What can be done to fix them?
7. What is causing this issue? Script? VCE?
8. Needs more excitement, sounds like.

These issues are, as Greek said, reasonable. What can be done to fix them?

So, if you want problems solved then tell us about them. Just whining about everything in general doesn't help and makes you look like a richard.

That would actually be pretty fun. But I did notice a lot of air to air combat on the server, mainly due to all the weapons on the planes (rockets and MGs).

Sure, but just saying that it's not right doesn't help. You have a clause with no statements (at least ones that aren't personally biased or just bad luck) to back it up. If you actually take the time to explain what's actually wrong with the server, I'm sure that they'll try to fix it.

are they bushido's planes?

Nope, completely new, made by Blastdown. They fly very nicely in my opinion.
