I think you just accidently struck gold for a game concept. A flash game that somehow makes it fun and challenging to try and die and you have to figure out how to kill yourself but the game tries to prevent you from doing it!
Wow. Now I just need someone who can actually do artwork!
Also ironically I googled "A video game where you try to die" and Dark Souls was like the 2nd link.
By playing the game itself you are trying to die, as much as you're trying to convince yourself that you're avoiding it.

5 MINUTES TO KILL YOURSELF GGGGG

Those Cthulhu things in that prison place are loving scary!

sounds so fun but a horrible game for me lol

I was wondering when someone would make a topic about this.

the Drake sword is my favorite weapon by far, very useful for the beginning of the game, sadly i only rented the game but i hope to buy it soon.

(also the tutorial boss was annoying as hell until i found out how to beat him.)

When I bought the game at gamestop the guy was like "I tell everyone who buys the game don't attack the first boss just run." But if you read the little hint on the floor it says "Run!" so I don't see how people get stuck. On the wiki it says if you beat him with the broken hilt he drops a rare item.

Also yesterday I made a thief and he is much harder than my warrior but way more fun, I always hate moving slow in video games.

its at adult swim games

I don't think I'll be getting this game, I already have demon souls, and this sounds like a carbon copy, like what they did with call of duty.

If Demon Souls was a good game why would you be upset they made an almost identical game with new content?

Mostly because I never got into demon souls, but also because I believe games shouldn't be carbon copies of each other, even if it is a sequel.

So if they make an FPS one game the sequel should be an RPG and then the next sequel should be a racing game? I'm not sure what you mean by carbon copies, they have the same root elements because they are the same genre and same series. You are making absolutely no sense to be honest.

Also I love how this game is filled with secrets that you really need to be paying attention and think about to access, like shooting the dragon tail you see swinging on the way up to Undead Parish and after shooting it 15 times it falls off and you get the bad ass sword. I miss games with secrets that are really hard to find out about and this game is chock-full of them.

meh, I have a problem with believing everything I hear on the internet. someone posted somewhere that it was virtually a carbon copy of demon souls. I realize now that I made a stupid, sorry about that, I'm moving along now.

I might get this sometime now that I've put some thought into it.
But not until after Skyrim, maybe I'll ask my parents for it for my birthday/christmas or something.

Holy stuff, since when did Oblivion have multiplayer?

Oh.

Wait..

mindforgeted.

It's Dark Souls..

:c

Pretty badass game.
