I have a Z68 motherboard and a 64gb SSD but I'd rather have full control over what's on the SSD and store programs and documents on the secondary hard drive.

My main question is what would have if you set a 64 (or more) ssd as virtual page file RAM. Would that be possible if it were an SSD?
I believe it would be possible with a PCI-E SSD, like a RevoDrive or something. Not sure otherwise.

It's this:

Decent combo, but you could get a Z68 board and still a decent PSU for that price.

all four of my CPU's are at 40oC
feels good man
Overclocked 990X here, running at 26C idle.

Ok, just curious:

Is it worth the extra 100 dollars for the Lightning Xtreme 580 which has 3GB VRAM instead of 1.5GB VRAM?

It could be more future-proof, but it costs a lot.

Depends on the resolution you are running.
It'd be great for say 3 monitors running at least 1080p.
Remember, if you SLI 2 580s, the memory doesn't add up. Like, two 1.5GB 580s in SLI doesn't mean you have 3GB of VRAM, you can only use one instance of VRAM, so you still only have 1.5GB.
I'd recommend more VRAM for multi monitor, SLI or CF systems.

specs please.

Also, is it possible to use multiple monitors with different resolutions? For example 1920x1080 and 1440x900?

Nope. It will only work if you use third party software/hardware. The scaling is usually pretty bad aswell.

Yep. Although it kinda derps.
The best thing to do with different sizes is to get them with the same vertical height but different horizontals. For example a 1366x768 with a 1024x768 on the side.

I tried it once on a 5850, and it worked, but was a bit forgeted.

OK about SSDs. I know they're REALLY fast. But are they really worth that much?

I mean, I have a dell laptop with a crappy HDD, but it's fast enough for my needs.

The case come with one.

It'd be super super unreliable.

You have to try it to believe it.
