From what the minimum system requirements say, everything except your GPU is good. It says you need a video card with 512 MB of ram.

How did you get that list?

Fraps seems to lag slightly when I record Blockland. I found this extremely odd seeing as I just got a new graphics card (XFX Radeon HD 6870).

What should I do?

My dad wants to buy my sisters laptops as a college present at the end of this school year. He wants to speed $500 or less on each of them. That means I need to find a good laptop great for word processing and probably good at media type things (listening to music, watching videos/movies). I'm not asking for a gaming laptop, just one that is powerful for around $500.

I've forgotten how amazing CCleaner is.

It's amazing and makes me want to buy the full product and not the free version.

This laptop is pretty good for it's price.

I might do the same :/ AMD may release a better GPU early but then when NVIDIA jumps in to the next generation it woops AMDs ass.
The only serious difference between the two brands is that nVidia has PhysX and CSAA
Can my PC Run Skyrim?
everything but your video card because the 9200 is poop

This is likely just Fraps being Fraps. Happens to me too.
Change your FPS in the recording, perhaps?

I think it's a program called Speccy.

Err, that's where your wrong sir. When you compare last years Single GPU cards between AMD and NVIDIA it was a clear difference that NVIDIA scored significantly higher.

That's only 1 benchmarking program.

Is it true that running an AMD or ATI GPU on an Intel CPU will actually make you lose performance?

Can't even overclock this Athlon II X2 past 3.4GHz. Any further and my computer won't even post. Since multiplier is locked I have to use FSB.
raaaahhh how can anyone use this CPU?

Since there is no other place to ask, is a Radeon HD 6850 graphics card fully compatible with my Dell inspiron 518 desktop?

I believe this is invalid. They should perform the same on different CPU architectures (provided they're up to date.)

I'm assuming your processor is a Core 2 Duo.
Provided there's enough room, and an adequate power supply, yes. I just looked at the documentation a bit further, and there's only a 300W PSU in there. You'll need to upgrade that too.
Keep in mind though, you may experience slight performance drop compared to some other people, as your motherboard is only PCIe 1.0A.

I found two cards in my price range at Fry's, they are the only two in my price range. I'm tired and I don't feel good. Could someone confirm that these are either bad or good?
