How much are you looking to spend, and are you willing to build one yourself?
$800- $1200

$800- $1200
with that you'll likely play it on ultra, but you're not stating if you're willing to build it or not.

Could you add anther fan to that CPU cooler, the one you suggested?

Could you add anther fan to that CPU cooler, the one you suggested?
Yeah, it comes with extra fan clips. The fan has to be 120mm and 25mm high.

Alright then, how about this? The 6870 is nice. What's the rest of the computer?

Yay, now I have a MUCH better computer then Coolio over a better computer then Coolio.
It's a sad Dell "Hand me down" computer.

Not the best, but still really good, especially for a hand-me-down. You'll experience no bottlenecks with that card.

If you guys could help me with my Windows 7 booting issue here, that would be great.

Apparently my mainboard, 'Asus P8H61-M LX2' dosen't allow me to overclock my Intel Core i5 2500K, is there any way to do it? Or will I not be able to do it at all?

That motherboard natively supports overclocking, so I'm unsure why you can't. Can you find the settings in the bios?

would an AMD Athlon II X2 260 Processor be better than an Intel Pentium G480?

btw, il be using the geforce 550 Ti
Yes.

how the forget to clean out useless trialprograms
Reinstall windows
ccleaner

I would get the latest stuff there is, but I'm paying a maximum of £80 for the GPU and CPU each (so it's a total of £160 altogether). I've seen the Phenom 2, but it's quite a bit more expensive than the Athlon, and from what I've seen, the Athlon 2 is completely capable of gaming.

I'd try get a Phenom II x4 if possible. I know the lowest end one used to fit into the 80 pound budget, not sure if it does anymore.

I'm going to be buying:
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161396

Edit: Good choices?
Yes, very good choices. That PSU may be a bit overkill for that GPU, but better that then not enough. BTW do you want the bright blue GPU?

How long has it been since you bought the computer/last reinstalled Windows?
Quite often a really bloated windows installation can just glitch at startup like that.

Ethan, I need to know if I would be able to fit this CPU cooler into this case. The height of the CPU cooler is 160mm and the case manufacturer says on its website that the largest CPU cooler that the case can fit is 160mm. I want it to be able to fit and close the case panel, I don't want to have one of those computers with no side. I want a CPU fan with a Blue LED that can support a 2600K OC to 4.2-4.5GHz. I looked at the ZALMAN cooler as well but I absolutely hate the look of the copper pipes when inside the case. I also do not want to go the route of buying a H80 cooling system because I have no idea on how to maintain it and I have heard so many bad things about those coolers. halp.
