yeah, it might be time to reformat.

i had a computer which took like 2-3 minutes to boot and reformatting solved everything and now boot times are under 30 seconds.
god it wasn't a regret when i reformatted.

I don't really care about boot time, Generally i'm not around while it's booting.

It look perfectly fine in normal mode, you don't have to use metro. It is like complaining that your phone has the ability to text because you don't use texting. There is absolutely no downside to it.

So I've been meaning to get around to this for a while but I need to upgrade my computer. With what I think are the right specs provided can you guys recommend a processor that would actually work in this computer? If anyone could find a quad core that's compatible with what I have currently that would be great, and if not it'd help to know what's preventing it.



DXdiag stuff here, if there's stuff I'm missing just tell me how to find it and I can post it. It hurts running a computer on a single core and it's about time I find something to extend this stuffty computer's life a bit longer.

Can you tell us what kind of motherboard you have? You may have to physically open the case to get at it, I personally don't know how to get its info through the software.
