I'm upgrading my PSU to allow for more room for upgrades in the future, any suggestions? I have a budget of $100 USD

mmm yeah I'm pretty sure corsair makes good psus. I'm pretty sure RAM is really there specialty though, I also like there headsets a lot, they also have good customer service. I broke my headset by being stupid and even though their RMA policy says stuff about not covering wear and tear or pretty much anything else that didn't happen during the manufacturing/shipping. But they were just like "hey you can just send that in and we'll replace it, we don't really give a forget about the actual policy."

also, holy forget run-on sentence to the max.

Yes Corsair is special when it comes to RAM, but by far the best computer case I've ever owned (and I've owned TONS) is the Corsair 400r.  I would definitely look into this PSU, Mitchie

not the worst i've been called, lol
I didn't mean it as an insult but as an acknowledgment that you have personal info on that log lol

Should I OC my 1.8ghz AMD A8 to 2 ghz? What negative effects should I see long term?
What the stuff? You're asking if overclocking a one point motherloving right ghz CPU will have any long term consequences?
But seriously, that stuff is so underpowered I would literally just OC it til it blows as a science project. The honest truth is that you'll never reach any notable gain in performance without getting a CPU from this decade first

It's a laptop quad core, lol
The only reason that I want to OC is because arma rapes fps if you don't put enough cpu into acknowledging that objects exist virtually, even if they aren't rendered. The engine it uses is horribly optimized for processors.

What do you want to use it for? What do you want to compare it to in order to be considered good?

Sorry about the time, I got the card and in the excitement I forgot about this. For a comparison as you have asked my older card is/was a GT 520.

My old PC died...now this one is beyond annoying.....anyone know how to, without downloading ANYTHING, bust through the main Admin account's password on Win Vista?

my name isn't that personal, if you want personal, ask darkness.
