That's the problem they're already there. System Restore ran and it's like it was when I posted but at this point I'm giving up.

Agh. An amazon review said the 640 has an ass-awful touchpad. Logitech makes a mouse that works of all surfaces but still...is that a good reason to turn away?

Well everything seems mostly fixed. I can play more games now, but Recording is still slow and GTA IV is slow too. I might look into it tomorrow or this weekend. I hope Saints Row 3 runs well because I pre-ordered a month ago.

GTA IV should be better than slow, although it is an amazingly bad optimized game. FRAPS recording also always slows you down lots too.

I just want to turn my computer on today, it powers on, loads, then it just goes to a black screen with a mouse. I can start task manager, and there's only like 7 things running. Right now, I'm in safe mode, and it's working okay. HELP D:

Just updated the drivers to try to resolve the crashing, now there are weird flashes in Chrome instead (primarily on "dynamic" websites (tested on GMail, Twitter and Trello)).

Whelp, i'm half forgeted.

Windows vista had a 25% chance to successfully boot up.
Ubuntu decided to scan the disk for errors.
Suddenly vista will NEVER boot up now. Oh well, i never used vista anyways.
Should i just reformat and reclaim the 117GB of space windows vista has taken away with programs and stuff? I tried 10 times to boot it up and safe mode gives the same problem.
It just stops during loading and hard reboots with apparently no errors then claims it was a hardware error.
Startup repair and system recovery does jack stuff and gives the same problem. I have no recovery disks whatsoever.

Eh, i misread it. It apparently doesn't wanna tell me what the error is. It just says it's a hardware or software error or windows files might be corrupt or missing.

Oh and all of a sudden ubuntu is acting a little weird. What did i tell you guys? Ubuntu was probably gonna break before slow as stuff.
