How well would the $600 one play games?

Only game I have on my new computer is Minecraft but I get a consistant ~200 fps on low, and a consistant 60 fps on ultra, even when detonating TNT nukes. Time to test out Just Cause 2.

From personal experience with a similar system, it plays every game on max detail, but on 1366x768 resolution. You'd need to tone it down a little bit at 1080p if you have a compatible monitor.

You could tone down and get the 1GB card to save money if you want. No point getting a 2GB card at less than 1080p. What resolution do you run at?
1680*1050

1680*1050
I'd suggest getting the Twin Frozr II 1GB if you want then.

2gb, i have a $1500 budget

$1500 budget for what?
BTW it's pointless getting a 2GB for that resolution. If you are going to get the 2GB, go get yourself a bigger monitor.

Getting this case, this PSU, and going to look for a GTX460 768mb somewheres as part of an upgrade.

The case and PSU are a necessary.  My PSU is barely holding up my system I think, and my case has the absolutely worst airflow with only two spots for fans, no top vent and the PSU on top.  A second GTX460 because that'd just be handy for newer games like BF3 and GTAV soon.  I wish I got a 1GB GTX460 though, those are hell load still in stock :(

Ethan, recommend me a HDD 500-1000GB. Those two you suggested before both just went up $100.
=/

How well would you say this run games at default configuration?
I'm hoping i don't have to get the 1GB second card (If you get the upgrade it adds the card along with the discrete graphics) unless i have to.

Would it be possible to get a gaming laptop about as good or better than this computer:

http://support.dell.com/support/systemsinfo/document.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&~file=/systems/xps630i/en/om/html/specs.htm

when it has GeForce 450 GTS and 4GB of RAM?

I just want to know for future reference.

My itunes is randomly maximising itself. Help!

Damn, the good one is up to $140, due to the floods in Korea halting production. :(
Try get a cheap WD Blue.
What, what? They are all really expensive now?

You will most likely have to, if you want to play games at any proper settings with decent FPS.

That's not a very good computer. Lenovo made a laptop that was better than that for $700, but I don't think it's in stock anymore.

Sorry, but google is your best bet.
You could of course always restart your computer though.
