Holy stuff did you not know that?
2 plugs = need for 2 plugs.
It's not like they have a spare just in case the video card decides to draw more power. Once you have a video card, that's it, they only have the power connectors that they need.
HEY. don't make fun.

first computer build at two in the morning. give me some slack.
I didn't actually notice there were two plugs until I looked at some forum and checked again.

also I happen to be typing on goddamn 1080p

I don't suppose there's anything wrong with putting something that uses USB 2 into a USB 3 port, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Nope.
All USB's are completely backwards compatible.

My RAM stuff:
Micron 8JTF25664AZ-1G4D1  2GB  DDR3  667MHz
and three of them, so in total 6GB RAM.

forgot to mention:
i have a nvidia GPU, but an AMD processor so it would make more sense to have a motherboard with SLI support and stuff right?
in that case, is the Asus M4N98TD EVO SLI any good? it just lacks USB 3.0 ports which i doubt i'd use anyways.

and before you mention it i will be upgrading my RAM as well, too low MHz.

That's not a very good computer. Lenovo made a laptop that was better than that for $700, but I don't think it's in stock anymore.
technology moves really quickly doesn't it

whats ssh
Secure SHell.
It's a protocol for, mainly, secure remote console access and file transfer to Linux (and UNIX) systems.

Does this tell Watercooling/Aircooling if not I want to add it.

Good thing you are upgrading RAM as DDR2 isn't compatible with DDR3 motherboards.
To get SLI on an AMD board, you are going to have to get a 890, 990X or 990FX chipset board, which only come with AM3+ boards (bulldozer compatible).

If you've truly got $200 to spend there, then go for the 990FX.
Any preferred color scheme? :D

Feel free to write a segment and I'll be happy to add it. I didn't go too in-depth as I had just spent 4 hours writing the whole thing so yeah.

My mobo got fried and now I have to RMA it. If it doesn't come before next friday, I will flip my stuff. I'M TALKING TO YOU, NEWEGG. I BETTER BE ABLE TO PLAY SKYRIM THE DAY IT COMES OUT.

is the AM3+ socket "backwards compatible" with AM3 processors?
