I bought 8 gigs of 1333 mhz ram the other day for 60 bucks.
feels good man

Yeah, but to me it doesn't make much sense to practice IT.

What to do when a SATA Port is busted?
How badass is an i7-3960x and whats a good motherboard for it?

Well, use another SATA port.
And, you could actually look at benchmarks.

Hypothetical Situation: Say I had $2000.
Whats the best quality setup you can find?

WTF.

You got ripped off. I got 8GB 1333mhz ram for $30, you could've gotten some for $40.

Finally, I have bought my computer parts. I had to get a different CPU than the one you gave to me because it was out of stock. This is the one I got.

Oh and a while back ago, since I was going to install linux on my build, you said I had to disable something in the BIOS, what was that?

Helping my sister fix up her computer. Can you help me update these graphics drivers? I can't find the right thing to update them with.

ACPI support.
Do note that Windows will only really run with it on, and Linux will only really run with it off.

If it doesn't work properly, the correct driver is:
Graphics + Laptop graphics controllers + Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset Family + Windows XP Professional

I'd aim for a i7-3930k as well as maybe a HD6990.

I'd rather say a 2600K/2700K, The 3930Ks aren't worth it IMo, you could get very similar performance with a 2700K, only thing I find different is Hexa-core, QUad-core is good enough for everything, and more than enough for gaming, while a hexa-core is only really if you do intensive editing or something.

Well with the money you save, you're only half way to another graphics card anyway, pretty much..

Yeah but you could save that money anyway, just because there is a budget of 2000 doesn't mean you should spend like $1900 of it. IMO.

Neither of them worked. I got 'This download is not validated for your system. Please shoose the appropriate download from your manufacturer's website.'

Well that's the proper drivers. That's odd.
Maybe send Intel a support ticket?

I just got a new Graphics Driver from a friend... for free :D. Its a ATI Radeon™ HD 4670

How do i know if its compatible with my computer?
