Does it happen on more than one game?

I've only noticed it in Just Cause 2, but I haven't played many games due to the fact that I'm tethering Edge from my phone and I just built my pc.

I'm going to say to try running 3DMark. Tell us if it has artifacts.

Don't expect to max skyrim with everything on Ultra. I SHOULD be able to, but there must still be some driver issues or sli tweaks they have to do.

This might be a stupid question, but is the cable secure on your monitor and your graphics card?

Yeah. I will just assume it's some compatibility issue with JC2 and this GPU.

Really? I thought a HD6950 would've been ample for max detail.

I'm installing it right now and I'll see about that. I've got the 2GB version. Maybe Righteous One has the 1GB model.

So I should just go ahead and order that card?
I really REALLY want to make sure it's going to work.

I'd like to help out on updating and making recommendations to the first post, including "translating" parts to make it more understandable, condensing information to make sure people don't just go "TL;DR", updating graphics to make it more visually appealing and perhaps the occasional spelling/grammar checking. I have a passion for computers but I'm not an expert, so at least I'd like to help out with something.

I've got 570's in sli. :)

I guess I should have probably elaborated more... Some places in the game aren't optimized great, so while I got a solid 60 fps throughout most of the game some places are just insane. When you first get to White Run go up to the top of the city infront of Draonsreach and look down towards the city. I should probably add that I have quite a few other "graphic enhancing" mods running. If you want a list or something I can post it.

having graphics enhancing mods change a lot of things sometimes you know lol :)

I just maxed out Skyrim on Ultra.
Something else must be wrong with your system.

What is the highest ati graphics card that doesn't need power from the power supply?

But there's an adapter to turn the 4-pin into a 6-pin graphics card power cord.
