You have to send them the part.
They've not told me to send it.
Just to wait for their shipping claims department to do their stuff.

There's a video on youtube of a test where they take the heatsink off numerous processors while gaming. They smoke/burn/ignite in seconds.

Yes, but it was just posting. In the video they were playing games.

There is also a mount on the side of my case for a 120mm fan. Do I really need one if I am going to get two 80mm fans to blow though the whole case?

YES

Where are the two 80mm fans going to be?

Front and back.

So then the air flow will come in from the front and go out in the back.

Probably not but you can for better airflow.

EDIT: This reminded me, I was going to buy a 120mm fan to replace the one in the front and use the front one on my heatsink with push/pull, but if one blows more air, should it be pushing the air or pulling it out?

Can someone find me a Laptop HDD for a HP Pavillion Dv6000?
Maybe a battery too, as the current one only powers on when plugged in.

Ethan would you consider this a good HDD? I keep seeing people say that their MoBo does not even recognize it occasionally but I am really interested in it.

Odd.

Yes, but yours wasn't as hot. :P

Just because there is a mount there, doesn't mean you have to have one there. Top end cases have mounts nearly everywhere you can imagine.
Having a fan blow down on the GPU or CPU is great for cooling if you are having cooling problems.
These 2 should already have ample cooling though.

I'm confused.

What's your budget?
What speed are you wanting? I wouldn't go below 5400RPM IMO. 7200 is fast but a tad more expensive.
What capacity?
There are loving hard drives from really cheap to really expensive. You need to be more specific.

Yeah, good hard drive.
I can't see why motherboards wouldn't recognize it, I think that would more be a fault of the SATA controller than the HDD itself. HDDs are pretty much apples and apples.

Ok, when I want to make my PC have a wired connection to the internet, do I need a router or a modem?

100 or 200gb HDD is good. Around $100, if possible.

Obviously.

Obviously.
I ment which one do I need? I will be using DSL.

It's my friend's laptop, but if I can't get a HDD before a certain week in February, then I'll just give it back un-fixed.
