My brother just pre-ordered a Raspberry Pie.  Yes it is a computer in case you guys are thinking of the food item.

Uh help please

My keyboard and mouse have seemed to have stopped working. I left my computer on to download a game overnight and when I woke up I couldnt get my computer out of sleep mode because the mouse and keyboard did not work. They did not have any of their lights on, so it looks like they are out of battery, but they are wired and my computer is on

Help :c

Yes but my computer is in a closed cabinet, and the door to my room was closed all night

maybe something bumped into the two plopp things that you put in back of computer

How should I go about factory resetting a netbook without deleting windows itself?
It came with windows 7 starter so no disc drive (or disc).
Uninstall everything, run CCleaner (registry and cleanup), defragment
Or just download an .ISO and extract it to a bootable USB drive. there are plenty of tutorials on how to do this, completely legal if you have a license.

You realize when it's in sleep mode it stops downloading, right?
Plus if you're using Windows 7, it has plenty of issues with Sleep/Suspend mode. (maybe it's just me)

If its a dell I believe there's a setting in BIOS to reset it to factory settings. Nevermind, I'm handicapped. Unplug all your peripherals that you don't need and start the computer.

Press F8, and the Advanced boot options should show up. Then select "Repair your Computer" and then set the language and all that.

Log in as an administrator and click "Dell factory Image restore".

I think that's how it is.

EDIT: I think it takes a while depending on the computer.

Still though, in my experience with it, Windows 7 has tons of issues with Suspending/Sleeping. Sometimes it never actually reaches S3, just hangs (symptoms of black screen, power light still on, can't wake it up). Sometimes it bluescreens when it tries to go into sleep (something about powerprof.dll, still happens and no apparent fix for me,) or even sometimes it hangs right at the desktop.
Windows XP never had these problems :(

That's the BIOS settings, not the operating system.

Yeah I edited my post after I realized where it actually was. I derped.

Looking to upgrade my processor.
Willing to spend <$126
I have a HP Pavilion P2-1049 with AMD E-300 APU 1.3 GHz Socket FT1

What would be the best processor to upgrade to?

Are FM1 and FT1 sockets compatible?
no
AMD Fusion E300 (Zacate) Dual Core processor soldered down on the motherboard
processor soldered down on the motherboard
as in you can't change it
