that should be able to max out every game except one.
*cough* witchers 2 *cough*
lowest you'll get would be around the 30 FPS mark.
also, i'd recommend you use the SSD as the cache drive.
there are tutorials where you can do so and it will make your HDD very fast, that's the reason why i picked a z68 motherboard.

are you a first time builder?

If you're over-clocking a CPU and the case you bought has a removable backplate then Corsair does some very good closed-circuit water-cooling loops which are as easy to install as a case fan, otherwise you don't really need any sort of water-cooling at all.
The loops also work as a large case fan, so it effectively cools your entire case without much hassle at all.

Corsair also has ones which don't require removing a backplate though, they're definitely a viable alternative to a good CPU cooler and a large case fan coming in at around £50 for a standard gamer one

Costs less than a good CPU fan and heatsink plus a 120mm case fan would

you dont need watercooling, its more of a hassle in this case, just buy a regular cooler. scythe kama grand cross is pretty cool.

I bumped the tower of my computer and my monitor went black. I had to manually turn the power off and when I rebooted I got a message that said windows failed to shut down normally. Does this denote a problem? Is it possible something in my case is loose?

Yes

EDIT: Check the cables to the hard drive (power and data), the power cables to the motherboard, and the PSU.

check your GPU wires and RAM

I'm thinking of upgrading from my 400w power supply. Suggestions? The power suppy has to be mounted on the bottom of the case though, if that changes anything.
