The $600 one will definetly perform a lot better than yours.

okay that's great, but since most of the parts are sold out, can somebody suggest something of equal or better performance for the same budget?

Sure, I'll make one right now.

Can you reuse an old harddrive for storage and your OS?

I just encourage reusing old parts on such a cheap build so you can afford more decent parts.

i could reuse my inspiron case but i'm not sure how that'll work out. i'm sure my hard drive would be fine too.

One last thing.

Are you okay with AMD or should I attempt to use intel?

AMD is fine.

~$550
You'll need to reuse that hard drive you have. If you have an extra $50 on top of your current budget you could get a new HDD or upgrade to Windows 7.
Also the case only comes with the rear exhaust fan, if you want to have more that that you'll have to buy a few to install.
Oh, and you'll want to salvage the old disk drive too if you want to save $20.

for high end single monitor, nvidia

for budget single or high end triple monitor, AMD .. I heard they offer better multi monitor driver support. dunno though, I use a 580 (which is nvidia)

a 690 still beats anything AMD has though (the 7990 may change that)

...Three?

Whoops, with the way I read it I thought that NVIDIA and GeForce were seperate.
I just need to read more slowly.
