You guys are overestimating the size of the os, you can fit the entire thing and a game or two into a 40gb SSD no problem. Most of the people I know just went ahead and got a 128gb SSD for about $100, which is a great price

Dad will be back home soon, so I started the stream in preparation of building the computer. Go over to www.livestream.com/SDFGameChannel to see it.

On an unrelated note: I'm planning on doing a medium OC on my GPU, from 860mhz to maybe 1000 or so (max being ~1250). Has anyone done this before, and what sort of lifetime decrease should I expect?

make sure you stress test the hell out of it or you're going to run into so many problems

What do you mean
stress test it to be sure you're getting a performance gain and that the clock is stable
that's pretty much what i did when i forced my 9500GT to a 625MHz core

OCing my 580 from 797 MHz to 935 MHz almost doubled my fps in kombustor o_o

Having a problem with my PSU. The fan isn't running, but I only kept it on for about 5 minutes, and it still didn't run, so I shut the computer off. What do.
