Just a faster memory clock. You won't get anything impressive out of an 7770. If I had the choice I'd go with a 6800.
Hmm, I heard the 7770 is either equal to or better than the 6870...

Hey guys,

AMD Athlon II X2 240 (rev. C3) vs Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 ?

So guys. I've ordered a ASRock 990FX Extreme3 Mobo which should be coming this upcoming Monday.

I have Windows installed on my system currently with my old motherboard, and I am unsure on what would happen to my system when I swapped the motherboard and processor.

What would happen, and what do I need to prepare for this?(Do I need to back up my HDD, ect)

Chances are you'll only need to reactivate (which you should do over the phone.) If it doesn't boot, you could always back up through another OS and reinstall.

What do the numbers on the right column represent?
PassMark scores, higher means better

Oh I see. What brand do you suggest for the R6870?

The XFX Double D 6870 is the one I'd recommend the most

Guys, how is all this stuff for a moderately good gaming computer being able to run on max shaders? And any other possibilities like playing skyrim or battlefield on high graphics?

Looks fine but for the love of god do not get red RAM on a blue motherboard. That color combination is horrible XD
