Could someone tell me if this is a decent setup? It says I would get 81 fps on Extra setting on CoD MW2, but I wouldn't play that. It comes with a monitor and I have a windows OS disk.
Why the sound card?

Why the sound card?
"on-board", it's on the motherboard by default it's not an actual separate sound card.

didn't catch that. thanks

Mini ITX computer assembled. It's really cute, only has one very small fan everything else is cooled by a giant heatsink the size of my hand.

I didn't get a good answer for the GTX680 or 690 question so I will ask it again.

I will have ~$2.5k ready for budget. I will be gaming with only one monitor. I will be using the 2nd hard drive for Windows Backup.

Possible games that I will use:
Minecraft with maxed out graphics (and maxed GLSL shaders), expecting 60+ FPS.
Blockland with furthest render distance and max shaders, expecting 60+ FPS.
Star Ruler with max settings.

I don't care about noise, as long as it doesn't go over 80dB.
consider an SSD
those are hawt

My graphics card's vddc is only at 1v
Is that normal?

yeah my budget was only $1.2k and i managed to fit an ssd in there

Hey guys, I'm getting a new PC but I'm not sure what GPU to get along with it.
Can someone recommend something that will run blockland's shaders on max with little to no lag on an average (30K) build?

Also, Newegg doesn't ship to Europe so that's sad :(

You could try using one of those services where you get a US address at a warehouse and they send it to you but.

> extra shipping cost
> handling cost
> may have to pay tax when it arrives in your country

In New Zealand I have to pay on average $30-50+ per component. Turns out if I ship from Newegg using a system like that I'm paying more or the same anyway. It balances out.

Great, now catalyst is broken. Time to download!

Some tweaking of my build makes it about 1.8k dollars. If I overshoot it and buy a $2.5k gaming rig, then I will be throwing a little bit less than that amount out of my currently $25k custodial account for a car.

Yes, the Hitachi drive is for backing up, and it will be inside the computer.

You might want to go for an i7

i won a raffle and i'm getting a macbook pro 13" :D

I got £250 for Christmas which is equal to $403 (according to Google), I'm wanting to get a really powerful graphics card like this one but if I wait another month to save a bit more money, I'll be able to get this one.
I'm an impatient person, which one to choose?!? (or if you could suggest a better graphics card for around the same prince range that'd be superb)
