i got a laptop with ubuntu 11.04 + windows vista dual boot.

vista refuses to boot half of the time and ubuntu 11.04 keeps pestering me about how it isn't supported anymore and that i should upgrade to 11.10, oh and 20 gb of HDD space on that partition compared to vistas 127GB.

should i just install ubuntu 12.04 deleting the vista and ubuntu partition?

i think my laptop's psu is broken, does anybody know what i can do to fix it?

its a stuffty ass laptop that could barely game.

all of this except the charger is stock.

and its seriously 14 pounds heavy and its cheap plastic.

You should probably go full-blown Linux, but if you actually know how to use Linux, I wouldn't go with Ubuntu more-so as I would with Arch or CentOS.

Hey, is it possible to sell like my motherboard and cpu if I ever wanted to upgrade from AMD to intel?

you may need to upgrade your psu or somthin

OK I have some more questions about standoffs
1. So every socket has to have a standoff? If not, how do I know which ones are necessary?
2. Once I put the motherboard down on the standoffs what do I do?
3. Are there any other things I should know about standoffs/my motherboard before installing the motherboard?

The ones which are necessary normally have holes at the corners of your motherboard, once its on the standoffs you should make sure that it's aligned properly and let the ports on the motherboard come out of the back of the case the right way. Also make sure your motherboard isn't touching the case, just the standoffs.

Alcaul is best email worm
And CIH is the best virus.

It's one of only very few viruses that flash the BIOS.
