I have WAY too many slimeballs..

Not many people have means of getting them tho, so I'll just hoard them for trade.

:0 I should make a sheep farm...yikes...

Seaside is almost a town!

And Gentleman's...blah blah blah organization of Wafflerbagin' OG's is officially a village! You can warp to their spot using the warp command: /warp Gentleman's

Use /warps list to see where else you can warp to.

Form up a town, guys, it gives you added protection from griefers/thieves/pvp'ers.

I'de like to remake snowy outpost into snowy village, but....

Thats a lot of resources ; - ;

I would join but I don't want to get robbed by some stuff cunt because I don't live in a pre-ordained city.

Yeah after hearing that rule my motivation to play kinda died :x

Also found this in the minecraft mega topic

if anyone plays on kodleeshare.net,
"Racifor" is a hacker,
can fly/speedy/x-ray, and he's not an OP. he was banned for griefing but made an appeal and now is unbanned.

relics of the PVP map that killed the server's playerbase.

I need some screenshots with proof of the hacking. We have a no tolerance policy for hacking, obviously, so if i can get proof, I'll get rid of him. He means Racivor.

Fred, I feel like you've opposed every decision that I've made for this server, sometimes justified, sometimes (perhaps) just to spite me. But I think you're approaching this new rule with little regard to its potential to keep the server more interesting. I implemented this rule to give an incentive for joining with other players and maintaining a sense of community. The idea is, when you live on your own, you should expect people to be looking to steal your stuff, and kill you, and burn your crops. Whatever it may be. If you choose to live on your own, you face these dangers. Unless you live inconspicuously, or far away. The incentive for players who like to stay isolated is an added element of challenge: you gotta be prepared for someone to come around and want to forget you up.

On the other hand, people who are adamantly opposed to any form of griefing are encouraged to invite their friends, make friends on the server, and form up a community. Not only is there strength in numbers, but with joint supplies and efforts you have an increased ability to build structures and not just survive, but thrive. In addition to that benefit, you also have the law on your side. If raiders decide to dump some lava on your town, or steal stuff, or kill residents inside the town, or something like that, I'll gladly revert the damages, compensate for what was lost, and ban the offender.

Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to lay out my intentions with this new rule. I hope this clears things up for you, because I hate to see anyone be striving to find or create problems for the server, and then proceed to complain about them here.

I understand more now.

I've begun the citys construction [with some help from trifax ;) ] So this should be a fun project.

All the blocks needed for snowy village^

This is going to seem like I'm splitting hairs, but there are a few people in the BL-MC community who are going to interpret "Griefing/stealing/ect is allowed outside of towns." as an open invitation for maliciousness and that a better wording might be "Griefing/stealing/ect is not allowed inside of towns." One statement is implicit and the other is explicit.

An even better idea, if the intent is to encourage people to build in communities/towns, might be to make the rule "You must build in a town." And the punishment for breaking the rule is "Your build outside of town won't be protected from griefing/stealing/etc."

can i start a town once SOMEONE CONFIRMS MY REGISTRY

thats like saying you have to live in a city no making your house in the middle of nowhere
you know the risks of living outside of it but you do it anyway

Oh boy look, Someone broke into my house/room at the village I live at and stole my chest. Good thing I'm part of a village, Little help?

Redliub, I don't want to make living in a city mandatory, I just want to give incentive for people who do. By no means should be people be forced into something in this context, I'm just trying to foster and encourage a community based server. Essentially though, you said what I've already said: griefing and the such are not allowed in towns.

I'll get to registering people a little later, I don't have access to the admin page of the website ATM.
