"Majority of Youth want Macs, not PCs" Very sad

Excuse me all the mac users who are posting in this thread. One question i have for you is this. Exactly why the forget do you get to bash PC but if we so much as disagree with what you like you have a seizure and vomit blood everywhere?

We use macs at my school for art things. However the majority of the school uses pc and they are garbage. PC will suck if you don't have what you need/want. I agree macs look nice and shiny but from what I've seen on them they barely outdo my laptop while working in image editing and from what I've been told they cost at least 3 times more than it too. Unfortunately I can't verify the accuracy of this but the price range i was given for the dam things was disturbing to say the least.

That has remained my only interaction with a mac so someone will undoubtedly jump down my throat about how "No two X are alike" or something along those lines. I've used PC much more than Macs and i just prefer PC. So buy whatever you damn well feel like I could really care less.

I have a custom made Mac and that is why I love them. simple made for gaming and crap.

Mac has a little something also called Bootcamp Assistant that allows you to partition your harddrive and run Windows software.

A PC is for gamers and stuff.
Mac is for socializing and just having fun for an hour a day tops.
If you plan on spending time on something other than facebook or skype, you'd want a PC.
If you'd want to use it for facebook and webcams and stuffe, then get a mac.
Now, even though PC can do both very well, mac is more user friendly and overall just nicer than PC :)

The Mac OS is far better than windows.
I'll be expecting some handicapped insults because people here are gamers and that is not the Mac's strong point so they'll deem it a piece of stuff.

In all honesty, Macs are made for students/scientists.  Obviously he's out of his loving league.

IMO opinion, a PC can do a huge variety of things, but at a average quality between them all.

A Mac can do select things in an incredible manner, but runs other things at a bad quality.

Windows brings the quality to an equilibrium while a mac put's more quality into certain area's that appeal to certain people. Since I do everything on my computer I'd want a PC so I can make a, possibly tiny bit lower quality, T shirt, and then play video games, instead of making an incredible T shirt and then having a hard time playing a video game.

If you're not into games and your life centers around work that can be done at better quality on a mac, well, then get a mac. I personally like PC's because I do a huge variety of work on my computer, most of which does not comply with mac.

tl;dr it's your interests that really decide, neither OS is better than the other. they're both functional OS'.

If you haven't noticed, Steam has been ported to Mac.  And most of VALVe's games, are now on Mac.

Also, boot camp or wine.

That just leaves more PCs for us.
