IMO the mistake they made was that they made it mmo instead of mmorpg, if it had leveling system and stuff more people would have played it imo

It does have a leveling system and "stuff".

I would like to have seen infinite bricks as opposed to quest-earned bricks.
But then, that's why we have Blockland.

I think what went wrong with it was the story line. When I first heard of Lego Universe, I thought of exploring gigantic cities and stuff. But now it's everything is in ruins and you have to save imagination.

i have over 7 million bricks lol
every enemy drops 1 of the 5000 diff lego bricks used to build with.
and everyone came from a vender somewhere as well.

as apposed to blockland's 40 diff brick types, you could build quite a bit more stuff.

I was thinking it was still in beta.

Same over here...

I was one of the first players. :/

Mistakes that were made IMO:

-Making class selection rather late into the game so that free players were all the same
-Linear progression of characters
-Gear determines combat effectiveness, not level, even though you need to be a certain level for some gear
-Level means nothing other than limitations

You're kidding me right?
It was short lived.

They made the game free to attract more children, that plan backfired.

Lego Universe is trying to compete with other games like Runescape, WoW and various other MMORPGs. They should have stayed with a sandbox building game formula like Roblox, Minecraft or Blockland.

feel sorry for the people who bought it and beta tested it or got membership for it.

Lego isn't going to let the entire game go to waste, they will probably sell it.

I hated what lego did to use testers! the stripped us over our codes and forced us to Rebuy it basicly that and i lost my account so i couldnt have gotten ANY rewards from testing!
