I downloaded this game hoping there was deathmatch. Where is the deathmatch game mode?
Why do you want deathmatch?

How would that even work? Cry of Fear wasn't made to have a balanced PVP system, it probably would literally be whoever gets the sniper first wins.

You know what really needs a deathmatch mode?

My brother used to get stuffloads of demo discs. Forgot what they were called, but they had a bunch of demos on them, and this game was on one of them. I remember pogo sticking down the orchard... Cry of Fear isn't as creepy as pogo sticking down a low definition, empty orchard of awkward silence picking up random letters. It's like going inside the other way, seeing happy stuff when everything is terrible...

I don't really find this to be a good game, During the single player all it was was a series of boxes and jump scares with bad puzzles and fetch quests in-between, Then the multiplayer was the exact same, Not only that but the game seems to do it's best to make you get completely stuck and not know what to do, At one point me and cc were just standing at a door that wouldn't open, Then we spent around 20 minutes jumping around the small area until i got stuck in a wall and we had to restart, THEN the door worked, And that's not a one time thing either I've gotten stuck due to problems like that in the single player too, I really don't see why this was so hyped and things, It's not even THAT scary, I was playing in the dark and everything!

Adding to the getting completely stuck part, There's a part very early on with a computer, You can find some paper with two words that you would of course assume to be a username and password, They didn't work. I spent a large amount of time roaming around trying to find other things.

Also the people attached to floating beds are just stupid and a pain to attack.

I haven't seen a complete playthrough yet, but the premise is anything similar to Afraid of Monsters, the bed monsters are loving in sane to be loving insane. At least it isn't like Afraid of Monsters where they're just floating 2D images shooting flames.

Tails, do you like SCP-087(-B)?

You were silly on that video. Like how Cry didn't cut the video right on game close, so I actually heard the noise he made when it closed. The other Lets Player's videos automatically ended at that point, I believe because Fraps decided to stop recording since it closed.
lol Charles stair simulator 2012 XD

Am I able to use commands like "dxlevel 81" and stuff like that? My computer is horrendous.

I think Half-Life runs on a direct x version lower than 8.

I don't really find this to be a good game [and here's why]

I don't like the constant fetch quests either but I find this mod makes up for this and its other flaws with its atmosphere and fresh ideas. I'm having a blast with it, although I'm having trouble working up the courage to play past the beginning of Chapter Six :)

Jump scares are unavoidable in a scary game. Jump scares are what keep the player on their toes. You put enough to make them expected, but not enough to keep them tip toeing the entire game through. They hate themselves for getting caught in a jump scare because they know it might be expected.

Whenever I click anything on the main menu, I get this: map change failed: 'c_game_menu1' not found on server.

The map name different each time. It's happened since I started up and tried connecting to a friend. Help?
