Author Topic: Did Cartoon network just decide to use copyrighted material from the internet.  (Read 3525 times)

So I was just sittin right here, playin mah counter strike, and then all of a sudden, I hear the word "PONIES" shouted very loudly from the television. It was an episode of MAD, a show cartoon network introduced less than a year ago. Apparently they have run out of material, and have resorted to using multiple memes in their television shows, as well as copyrighted material. Through the episode, they used More than 35 memes, I counted, including: Ponies, Creepers, Shoopdawoop, and several others that are probobly under copyright. I remember someone saying "The cake is a lie" in one of the old shows, but you probobly knew that, as well as everything in this topic.

tl;dr Its not that long lol Cartoon network uses memes to make their television shows popular.

This was like, a long time ago
very late

and when have parodies been sued?

If it's from the Thunderlolcats segment then you are extremely late.

Hasn't this been known for a while now?

How do you copyright a meme?

I am Trollra, the Ever Trolling.

For some reason I thought it was a new episode, when did it come out.

The only thing that might have some repercussions is the creeper cameo. Everything else is too distorted to prove anything.

Cartoon Network is trash nowadays. I can't wait till they get cancelled.

Op is very silly, Mad is a Magazine by DC comics. IT has nothing to do with Cartoon Network.
