"LOL MEMSE R SO COPEERITD"

so family guy, south park, the simpson, etc. all are breaking the law?
no.

They either avoid being so direct, or ask permission. Some shows specifically avoid saying titles to avoid such problems. Can someone prove to me MAD has not asked Notch first for permission to use actual names, references, and all that to the game? I just want to be sure.

No meme is copyrighted. Whynne, creator of trollface, copyrighted it, and tried to get f7u12 removed from reddit, but it didn't work. Just proof that you can't control the internet.

but those things aren't copyrighted.
copyright laws don't work like that.
Nobody can come out with a game that is called "Minecraft". but they can make a tv show in which people talk about stuff from minecraft.

use the modify button, triple posts are not necessary

oh now you learn to use the modify button

I also remember one commercial for the green lantern series featuring reptile by skrillex I believe

I hope they were smart enough to ask permission for a song, then. Although, if they didn't, they'd probably have their asses sued beyond belief right now...
