Backstory + names.

The Accursed: The Accursed are a race of ancient beings under the curse of the Lich King, Wizzeh. An Accursed can take many forms, tall, short, fat, muscular, skinny, but they all share some common traits. For one, the vast majority of Accursed are humanoid, will grey skin of various shades and eyes of a dull white, with no pupils. However, Accursed can have various levels of possession by the Lich King. As He gains greater and greater direct control over an Accursed, their eyes take on an eerie blue glow, and they gain a strange aura of menace. It is uncommon, but not unheard of for the eyes of an Accursed to go completely blue in the middle of a conversation as the Lich King takes control of the situation and then return to normal again shortly after when the critical moment passes. There is an additional way that Wizzeh may manifest His powers, and that is in the form of rare clerics. They retain their free will unless possessed separately but they weild varying degrees of magical power. It may be that there is a limit to the number of direct possessions that the Lich King may hold at one time, but such a thing is unknown and untested.
The Lich King: A being of immense, ancient power, the Lich King sits upon the Throne of Misery in the heart of the City of Bones. None but a few Accursed know the appearance of the Lich King, as an Accursed would sooner die posessed than reveal such a secret. Wizzeh rarely acts independently, preferring to plot upon his throne. When he does though, His enemies would best run in fear.
Andakuus: The archmage of the original race to which the Accursed belonged, Andakuus is the High Priest of the Lich King. It is not uncommon for the Lich King to issue orders through Andakuus, as he prefers to not directly intervene in affairs. It is unkown to what extent Andakuus actually runs the affairs of the Wizzeh Collective.
The Lich Clergy: The Lich King's closest ring of clerics, whom he allows to channel a portion of his power.
The City of Bones: The capital of the Accursed Empire, the City of Bones towers over the natural portion of the Ashpile. The Lich Clergy is based here.
The Ashpile: The Ashpile is the tallest mountain in the Claw of the World, the sole mountain range on the Deadlands.
The Deadlands: The Deadlands is the most northwest of the known continents and it is the ancient home of the Accursed.

Backstory + names

Aureans:  A humanoid race of aloveually-reproducing beings, that are one of the few races that can out-populate even humans.  They are usually born with strong limbs and tough hide-like skin, with some very rarely being born weaker, in which they are usually abandoned.  A typical, un-deformed Aurean features two rear-bent legs, (like a horse's hind ones) with big-toed, clawed feet.  Their arms aren't unlike a human's, beside the fact that they only have three large abombinable fingers, each one unclawed.  Their heads are perhaps their most identifying features: they have large, wrinkled, flat snouts, with big nostrils and a slightly smaller mouth.  They hold large, lizard-like eyes, that are completely orange besides a small, black pupil.  They also have no ears, much like a snake, in which they use special receptors located on their tongue.

Religion:  The Aureans worship Aureus Unus, a god made directly of gold, hence his name. ("Golden one" in Latin) The Aurean's religion is known as Aurus, with Aurism being the religion as an idealism.  The Aurists are generally peaceful, and have always been.  Despite this, Aurist idealism forces them to naturally despise the Lich King, Wizzeh, and considers him a definite infidel, due to Aurist belief that life is the source of all good, and is a privelige, and consider the Accursed as victims.  Despite this, there have been no recorded clashes between Aurean and the Lich King before.

Serbul: The capital of the Principality of Aureus, and head to the two political branches and their councils.  Also houses the Serbus Palace, which houses the Sultan, Kiddeh.

Sultan Kiddeh: Said to be a direct descendent of Aureus Unus, the Sultan Kiddeh relieved the Aureans from the slavery of the Parmor Empire, leading them to become a powerful empire themselves.

Parmor Empire:  An ancient empire which used to be enslaving tyrants over the Aureans.  Not much is known about them, considering the Great Sultan Kiddeh completely destroyed them.
