so you take it for granted that no series has ever killed its protagonist?

ok.

that's forgetin' shallow.

No I don't take it for granted, what I meant by that is that I have never watched a anime that has killed off the main protagonist only 5 episodes into the show. Yeah I watched anime that killed off the main protagonist and a another character took it's place later on, but not in the first 5 episodes.

It's fine he didn't die so...

yeah, there's usually a reason for that...

A false main-character could be one hell of a twist. I think the shining did that.

Hm. My list of anime is quite small

You gave code geass a loving 5?
it isn't even that sad in the first season.

The ending had a big effect on me due to being an older brother my self. Other then that it's a good show, the 5 is just run off by emotions

to love ru... that's like the ecchi anime they tried to make serious right?

I don't consider it a "serious" series but it is ecchi and really funny

hi there, eat stuff

but then again, rating a series low because it's "too sad" is pretty stupid, if anything that should give it a higher rating.

my reasoning for the 5 is that R2's writers clearly did not give a stuff and weren't even trying, and the only good part about those 25 episodes besides the animation is the ending of the entire series.

forget R2, it sucked.

I don't like Code Geass.
Prepare the battlements.
