Tommy had admitted to being a pompous prick. He doesn't take all criticism as "flaming," I think I've offered the most negative feedback in the topic, and he responded to it VERY well.
His style isn't perfect, and he's admitted that he should drop it soon. Either way, this doesn't imply that your perception of what's professonial caliber should interfere with his artwork.
I also find it funny that you, coincidentally, offerred an example for "good art" that replicates your style EXACTLY.

I, personally, believe this style shows how one who has such a poor sense of proportioning and lighting can make their art look fancy through the use of digital highlight-based tools.
Even more so, the style you posted actually takes less work/time than the one Tommy is promoting. Your vision of "quality" is blinded by your own insecurity towards what you have the ability to do.
Tommy's a stuff, yes. He's incredibly arrogant and has a very low tolerance level. However, I don't see the reason behind constantly badgering him about it. He's admitted to some of these faults, and he's actually taking advice given from some of the people posting in this topic. The fact that you posted examples of artwork, to embrace on an opinion of one's attitude, is loving absurd.
I'm going to verify all your arguments
"I, personally, believe this style shows how one who has such a poor sense of proportioning and lighting can make their art look fancy through the use of digital highlight-based tools."
Correct, that is the whole concept of this style is based around.

Wrong, I no longer use this style. It was for study purposes. Something easy that doesn't require knowledge of anatonomy or proportions. But tommy's style also lacks proportion. My current style is what I have developed myself after looking at concept art for games like AC2 and GW2.
Here is a quick 20-25 minute sketch to give you an idea; as much as I hate this it's the only thing I could do because I have an essay to do after this.

Wrong, you do not know the amount of time it takes to create a piece of this style. I would respect you more if you did not claim your biased opinions as facts.
But since you told me that tommy already admitted he can be an ass I think I can deal with him now.
