I hope there is some kind of desktop sort of thing because it would suck and it would be hard to get used to no desktop
I'm mostly sure there is.
Like this was so much better:

You are really scraping the barrel.
The Win7 start button was very good in my opinion.

What do you mean? I was implying that it was HD and lit up when you hovered over it. I liked it.

Added. And I'm pretty sure ME and 2000 were kinda the same.

also, I think the new start menu looks cool.

However one (ME) was beyond unstable and for home use.
And one (2k) is the most stable compared to the newer NT versions and was meant for business use.

Just pointing that out c;

It is new, and might take some getting use to.

Its like the Windows Phone 2.0.

Nope.
ME was based on the 9x kernel (the one based on DOS), was aimed at consumers and had a reputation of instability, as well as being infamous for real DOS-mode access restricted.
2000 was based on the NT kernel, and was more directed at companies.

For starters, this is a basic chart of the Windows versions.

Company-oriented NT (has, for example, NTFS and ACLs)

This. At least the glimpses we've seen of it yet.

Oh wait you're just being a troll. My mistake.
God forbid someone has an opinion.
