That's a pretty nice PC but I agree with Ethan that you could do so much better with your money.

Because you bought a stuffty dell latitude.  They're worth more like $100.

2500k with a 6990?

*raises eyebrow*
would a 2500k really be better then the amd 6 cores o.o?
I have always used intel...but i wanted AMD to save money...

That's better.
If possible I would throw a lovey sound card on that though.

Okay.

Better, and somewhat worth it's money.
Just FYI you could build that for $1200 if you chose to do so yourself.
Yeah, Intel has better architecture, and has since the Core 2 Duo days. Even an Intel 4 core is about even with an AMD 8 core.

What's the point?
It would be a gigantic waste of money. You only ever need a dedicated sound card if you are doing audio work. Integrated can support up to 7.1 surround, and some go beyond that. They are all you could ever need.

Thanks for the advice. but i don't think i could build one haha xD

Well I'm not talking a $500 studio card, just a cheap thing. I guess it really depends on the integrated sound. I'm a serious audiophile though and I can't stand most integrated audio.
But that's just me.

Most sound cards suck ass and barely provide any performance over onboard, if any. Really, this was a problem like 8 years ago but not anymore.

I think i am going to go with the iBuypower PC

It's like a jigsaw puzzle, but if you're not comfortable doing it, that's fine.

Good choice.
